Go Whale Watching on the Gold Coast and you will enjoy some of the very best whale watching Australia has to offer - join us on an adventure that will leave you spell bound, mezmarised and blown away by the Magic of the Humpback Whale as they migrate past our shores each year from June to November. From June through to mid August the Humpbacks are on their Northern migration to mate and breed in the tropical waters off far North Queensland. From August to November you will see them on their Southern migration back to the Antarctic to feed and rest before they make the mammoth journey again next year. This is when you will see the babies !!

We guarantee 100% that you will encounter these magestic giants on each and every cruise, there is something very special about our whales here off the Gold Coast at Coolangatta - we can see many pods within our 3 hour cruises and all within viewing distance of the coastline. From the time you hop aboard our boat 'Whale Watcher' to the time we are out of the Tweed River on our way to the Whale Super Highway can take as little as 20 minutes to spot our first pod - and you can hear the excitement build as we hear 'there she blows'. There she is in all her glory - how fantastic is this!!!!

Participant Guidelines

Wear sensible shoes for boating. Bring a jacket in the winter months. Don't bring too much luggage with you. Take care of sea sickness if it affects you by visiting your chemist, we recommend Travelcalm original or Kwells and if you are pregnant use the natural products or wrist bands, check with your Pharmacist first.

Bring your camera, video and spare batteries and cards, people tend to shoot off plenty of photo's and you need to be prepared for that 'full card'

Booking Notes

Transfers are available all over the Gold Coast and down to Kingscliff. Fees apply from $5 to $20 per person depending on where you are located, this price includes return.

Departure Time

Depart time is 9am and 1.30pm Queensland Time, patrons need to be at the boat 30 minutes prior to departure.

Session Length

June to early November each year, 3 hour cruises.

Numbers on the day

Maximum passengers is 46 plus 4 crew - total of 50 passengers onboard at any one time.

Weather Exceptions

All trips are weather dependant, if the sea is too rough or the skipper feels that the bar (river mouth) is not safe, the trip will be cancelled and all customers will be put over to another day or a full refund will be offered if the trip is unable to go.
