Description
A surf lesson is a fantastic opportunity for your child to get away from it all, get fit, have fun and just enjoy the pleasure of surfing at our beautiful Gold Coast beaches.
The surf instructor can run the private surf lesson to suit your child’s own individual ability. They get the complete safety, advice and encouragement from a surf instructor who is beside them the whole time. It's a great way to get your child’s technique right from the start and then when they feel confident enough you can progress them to a group surf lesson or get a surf lesson package.
The private surf lesson is also recommended for any child under 8 years of age. This is not only for safety reasons but also because the 7 ft surf boards can be difficult for the smaller kids to handle.

Participant Guidelines
All you need to bring is:
* Towel
* Boardies or Swimsuit
* Foot wear, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and a bottle of water are a good idea. Especially on the warmer days.

Weather Exceptions
Your surf lesson will be held at the Spit at the Northern end of the Gold Coast and will go ahead rain, hail or shine. Surfing lessons will be postponed when conditions are unsafe.
